Your use of the Site or placing an order following any such changes constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed. TERMS OF SALE
All sales of products made via the Site are subject to these Terms of Sale.
Placing Orders and Contract Creation
The steps for placing an order on the Site and for forming a contract with us are as follows:
You will be guided through the ordering process by a series of instructions on the Site. You place your order at the end of this process by clicking on the BUY NOW button. Orders can be amended prior to the commence of fulfilment. Just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can to check if this is still possible and if it is we’ll manually amend it for you. Fulfilment time varies by product category. Once the fulfilment of the order commences, orders cannot be cancelled.
Once you have placed your order, we will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered. This is an acceptance of your order by us. If we do not or cannot accept an order placed by you, for any reason, we will notify you. Once you receive the order confirmation email, a contract is formed between you and us in relation to the product or products set out in the email and payment will be taken. Fulfilment of the order will not start until payment has been made in full.
Please check the details of the order confirmation email. It is your responsibility to notify us if there are any errors or inconsistencies by contacting us at email@example.com or by using the free text form available on the Contact Us page.
As your product or products is/are shipped from our fulfilment facility we will send you a dispatch confirmation email, which means that your order has been fulfilled by our production partner. The dispatch confirmation email will contain:

The contract between us for products sold via the Site will be concluded in English. We will not file the specific details of your contract. If you do require any information regarding orders you have placed with us, please check your order history on the Site (if you have an account with us) or write at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Product Descriptions & Availability
We endeavour to present the most recent, most accurate, and most reliable information on our Site always. However, there may be occasions when some of the information featured on the Site may contain incomplete data, typographical errors, or inaccuracies. Any errors are wholly unintentional, and we apologise if inaccurate information is reflected in product prices, item availability or any other part of the site.
Please be aware that we present our content 'as is' and make no claims to its accuracy, either express or implied. Please also note that because the colours of the products you will see on the Site depend on your monitor/screen, we cannot guarantee that the display of a colour will be accurate, and some colours may vary.
We reserve the right to amend errors or to update product information at any time without prior notice. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to photographic error, typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price (regardless of whether or not the order has been confirmed and you have been charged). If your card/PayPal account has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall issue a credit to you in the amount of the incorrect price.
At Made of Stories, each product is custom-made for each customer for every order. Each one of the collections is a limited edition and therefore has limited quantity and availability. That means once an item is gone, it may be gone for good and not appear on the Site again. When an item featured on madeofstorieshop.com is no longer in stock, we make every attempt to remove that item from the Site in a timely manner.
If you have ordered a product that is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible by email and, if applicable, give you an estimated date of when the product is due to be back in stock and available for dispatch to you. Alternatively, you will be entitled to cancel your order and receive a refund from us (if your card/PayPal account has already been charged).
Pricing and Payment
The price of products is quoted on the Site in GBP (£) and includes VAT/GST, (where applicable). Prices quoted exclude delivery costs which are added to the total cost of the order during the order process, but before you complete the purchase. Please see our Delivery Policy for delivery costs by destination and item type. Delivery costs include VAT/GST (where applicable). VAT is not included in our prices for customers outside of the EU (including Channel Islands). GST is included in our prices for shipments to Australia. Products that are shipped to countries outside of the UK and the EU may be subject to taxes, brokerage fees, customs duties and import fees levied by the destination country.

We offer international shipping and partner with global carriers to give you the best shipping experience. We also try when possible to produce the product in-country or at a facility close to the delivery destination to ensure speed of delivery and lower shipping emissions. The carriers that our production partner uses are FedEx, Latvian Post, DHL, DPD and USPS. When will I get my custom items order?
It takes 3-7 days to fulfil an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:
USA: 5-8 business days
International: 10-20 business days
Estimated delivery comprises of fulfilment time and shipping time. Fulfilment takes 2-7 business days to create apparel products (such as our boho-chic clothing) and 2-5 business days for non-apparel products (such as laptop cases). Average shipping time is 4 business days depending on the order's destination.
For products we curate:
In order to offer low-cost and effective delivery, we ship our products directly from our suppliers' facilities in Asia and Europe. Therefore, please note that if you order more than one product in an order, it will likely come in separate packages. The carrier that our suppliers use is tracked international post.
Delivery to the UK and most of Europe takes about 7-15 working days but could go up to 20 working days, depending on destination country postal capacity and any other conditions that could affect international national and international transportations (border closure, weather conditions, pandemic and lockdowns).

Where will my order ship from?
We work with an on-demand order fulfilment company with facilities worldwide!
Will I be charged customs for my order?
An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.
My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address.
Ask your local post office if they have your package.
Stop by your neighbours in case the courier left the package with them.
Pro tip: Package theft is on the rise—If you're expecting a home delivery and you know you won't be home to accept it, use an address where you know you'll be!
If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbour’s, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number.
If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost. Pro tip: The zip code is the most important part of the address. Use a simple tool like Royal Mail postcode lookup to make sure you get it right!
We are unable to change the delivery addresses for parcels once the order fulfilment process started. If a change to delivery or contact details is required, please contact us as soon as possible on email@example.com and we’ll do our best to correct them. However, this might not always be possible. If the order fulfilment started, unfortunately, it is highly unlikely we will be able to correct it manually.
Ownership of and risk in the products you have ordered will pass to you at the time they are delivered to you. If you decide to return the product(s) to us for a refund or exchange in accordance with our discussion, risk will remain with you until you have posted the returned products to us.
Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
At Made of Stories, most products are tailor-made for each customer for every order. If you change your mind about your order, we will kindly ask you to cancel as soon as possible before fulfilment starts, by 9 pm the day you placed your order. However, we would really like you to be happy with the product and offer you 14 days to change your mind from the day you receive the item. For any UK customers, we're covering return postage. From the day we send you the label, you will have to post it within the timeframe stated in our email to you and we won't be able to issue a new one.
We can't accept returns only on swimsuits or any other underwear due to hygiene reasons as well as personalised items. Should you wish to return an item, drop us an email with your order number at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll provide you with the return address and a return label.
Note, all non-UK customers will be liable for the return postage unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
Full refunds are offered to all customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items if we get notified within 14 days of receipt of the item. If any of these apply, please contact us at email@example.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we will sort that out for you. If you received the wrong item and notified us within 14 days of receipt, we'll send you free return postage and will issue a full refund once we receive the item back at our local facilities. If you still want to receive the right item, we'll make arrangements straight away but we'd still need to receive the incorrect item back.
If returning more than one item
You need to let us know you wish to return an item within 14 days of receiving it and we need to receive the item within 14 days of sending you a return label or return information. If you wish to return more than one item, you need to let us know before dispatching the item. It's quite likely that you will need separate labels as the items are tracked through individual labels back to your order.
Please don't place the item in the same package, but follow the return instructions we'll send you via email. Until the item reaches our return facilities it's within the responsibility of the customer.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/colour?
Currently, we do not offer exchanges. If you are unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section. Though rare, it is possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we will send you a new one, or issue a refund.
If you'd like to change the item you received for another size or type, for UK based customers, we'll send a free return label and kindly ask you to order separately the new item. Once we receive the returned item at our facilities, we'll issue a full refund for the first order.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits your statutory rights if you are contracting with us as a consumer, including your right to a replacement or repair where products supplied are not of satisfactory quality.
However, we are not liable for: (1) any losses, howsoever arising, related to any business of yours including (without limitation) lost data, lost profits, lost revenues or business interruption; or (2) any special or indirect loss or damage, howsoever arising, unless that loss or damage is foreseeable to both of us at the time we entered into a contract.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in the terms and conditions for a particular promotional code, promotional codes cannot be combined and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount.
The contract formed between Made of Stories Shop and the Customer, which includes these Terms of Sale and any document referred to in them, constitutes the whole agreement between us and supersedes all prior agreements (written or oral), arrangements and understandings between us relating to the same subject matter.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, these Terms of Sale, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Sale (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by English law. The courts of England shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Sale or their subject matter.
Usage Restrictions; Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, all design and content featured on the Site - including navigational buttons and images, artwork, graphics, photography, text, and the like - are subject to copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property rights that are owned, controlled or licensed by or to Roéll LTD. All such rights are reserved.
The content of the Site, and the Site as a whole, is intended solely for the personal, non-commercial use by users of our Site. Any use of our Site and its content for purposes other than personal and noncommercial is prohibited without the prior written permission of Roéll LTD.
You may download, print or store any of the page contents displayed on the Site, provided that you (1) only use these materials for your personal, non-commercial use, (2) do not post the content on any website/media network or broadcast the content in any media; or (3) do not modify or alter the content in any way, or delete or change any copyright or trademark notice. Should you choose to download, copy, or forward any site materials via email, no right, title, or interest in those materials will be transferred to you. We reserve complete title and full intellectual property rights in any content you download, reproduce, print, redistribute or store from this Site.
User Comments, Feedback and Other Submissions
While we welcome your comments and feedback regarding our products and services, we do not wish to receive any confidential or proprietary ideas, suggestions, materials, or information via this Site or any email connection. Please note that all of your comments, feedback, ideas, suggestions, and other submissions (collectively, the "Comments") that are disclosed or submitted to us on or by this Site, or otherwise disclosed, submitted or offered in connection with your use of this Site, shall become and remain the property of Roéll LTD. Made of Stories Club
You may post or upload content you have created, including without limitation, photographs, your social media handle, videos, and comments (collectively, “User Submissions”) to your social media accounts.
By posting and uploading User Submissions that you have tagged with Made of Stories Shop brand-related hashtags or social handles, you grant to Made of Stories Shop and its third-party service providers who provide content management services (collectively, the “Licensed Parties”) the perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully-paid, non-exclusive, transferable right to use your User Submissions in any manner to be determined in Roéll's sole discretion, including but not limited to on its webpages, social media pages, and in its other marketing, promotional and advertising initiatives, in any media now or hereafter known.
Made of Stories Shop may use, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, combine with other materials, alter and/or edit your User Submissions in any manner in its sole discretion, with no obligation to you whatsoever. You grant the Licensed Parties the right to use your username, real name, image, likeness, caption, location or other identifying information in connection with any use of your User Submissions. You hereby represent and warrant that (i) you own all rights in and to your User Submissions, (ii) you have permission from all person(s) appearing in your User Submissions to grant the rights granted herein; (iii) you are not a minor, and (iv) the Licensed Parties' use of your User Submissions as described herein will not violate the rights of any third party or any law. You hereby release, discharge and agree to hold Made of Stories Shop, the Licensed Parties, and any person acting on Made of Stories Shop's or their behalf harmless from any liability related in any way to the Licensed Parties' use of your User Submissions.
